COVID 19
This year has been very tough for most of us. As you know a bike consists of hundreds of parts. If one of the manufacturers of bike parts stops this will slow down the entire delivery process. We are sold out of the 2019 inventory and were not able to get any of the new bicycles in. We look forward when this pandemic will be all over.
Frame weight
Medium 56 frame only weight 2.6 kilos or 5.7 pounds. Small 53 frame is about 2.5 and Large about 2.7. Chromoly steel. But don't worry too much about the weight on commuter bicycles. The Lock you have to carry around in the city is probably heavier than the frame....
Going to our 5th year
Our new 2020 single speed bikes are in stock. We are going into our 5th year of business. Thank you for all your support! New for 2020 single speed: We noticed how many people wanted to be able to choose a thicker tire for more comfort. (More tire to absorb road vibrations). 700x30 or 700x35. This year we changed the frame to be able to accept wider tires. Also, all the new bikes come with 700x28 (fenders) or 700x35c. The wider seat stay also allow for a wider choice of fenders (mudguard) Yes, it looks very nice!
Aries 9 new 2019 bicycle
This year we decided to upgrade the A7 to A9. It is a completely new bicycle, every part better than A7. There is a 9 speed cassette (not freewheel) in the rear. Total 18 speed. Hydraulic disk brakes shimano, sloping top tube, wider tires, chain-guard, internal cables etc... etc... It is selling well and getting a lot of compliments for the beautiful colour.
Reviews
Testimonies and Reviews. It has been a big pleasure to sell “Aries bicycles”; rewarding when expectations are met. Here are some kind notes I received recently: “… Hey Eddy! Thanks again for everything! The tool and the helmet and making all the little adjustments for me! Can’t wait to start riding around the city and will definitely be recommending you….” “… Just got the bike and it looks wicked…. Have you considered a distributor in alberta?…” “. I have received the left crank arm -Thank-you!…” - from a customer who striped the threads trying to remove...
