Hi-ten vs. Chromoly frames

Hi-ten vs. Chromoly frames

Here is how to tell if your frame is Chromoly or Hi-ten steel: 1- Price.  Usually Hi-ten is much cheaper than Chromoly steel. 2- Weight. Because Chromoly is stronger it uses less material than Hi-ten 3- Tapping. Just by looking at the bicycle it is hard to tell what material it is.  If you have a pencil tap the frame.  If it sounds like "Ding" instead of "Donk" it is probably Chromoly. Thank-you for all the referrals from happy customers.  Almost half of all our orders are now coming from people who bought our bicycles and are referring to their friends...  I wish they would let me know so I can thank them... If you have referred a friend and would like to take part in a prize drawing please send your name and address to my email: ariesbicycles@gmail.com.  I will draw the prize once I get about 25-30 people.  The prize will be 50% off any bicycle I have in stock. Thank-you for all your referrals!!!!
